Quick Overview

Our plans include reenvisioning the parking lots along PCH currently used by Fairfield Inn & Suites and Aloft Hotels as well as the now abandoned Hacienda Hotel restaurant and conference facility. Highlights include:

  • Two separate mixed-use apartment buildings with ground floor retail on Pacific Coast Highway to create walkability;
  • One of the apartment buildings will have 120 units and the other will have 137 units;
  • 10% of those units will be affordable- 13 low-income and 13 moderate-income units;
  • Approximately 11,000 sq. ft. of retail space including 3,700 sq. ft. of restaurant space;
  • Six for-sale townhomes to the west of the Carl’s Jr. at Palm Ave;
  • Two new parking structures to provide ample parking for all uses;
  • Hotel parking access will be from PCH only;
  • All new buildings will be lower than the existing two hotels;
  • Widening the south side of Mariposa Avenue when heading east at the PCH intersection to allow for a dedicated right turn lane onto southbound PCH.
